When I got this in the mail I took it out of the box, turned on the radio, it started playing, turned on the flashlight, everything worked. I thought everything was fine so I put it back in the box and put it on the shelf. A month and a half later we had a storm that cut the power for a few days. He walked over to the shelf, grabbed his handy dandy radio and turned it on, then pocketed his phone to charge it. Everything worked fine for an hour or so, then it just started dying. The crank did not charge the radio, and standing in bright sunlight did not charge the radio. My laptop was hooked up to a generator so I used the USB cable that came with it and was able to charge the radio that way. No launch vehicle, no solar power, somehow defeats the purpose of everything. I've already passed the return window, so I'm sorry.
