More for show than a secure collar

Bought this set for my three small dogs. They're cute and all fit well except they don't stay the size I fit them to - the plastic slides over the slick material too easily and loosens quickly. I do not walk dogs on a leash as they use a large fenced yard so slipping off the leash and losing it is not a problem for them, but it can be a problem for other pets. The buckle closure seems quite strong for a small dog.
