This comes with an adaptor to convert the mister hose's 1/2" connection to a standard garden hose. In mine the adaptor is the right diameter, but the screw threads are the wrong pitch. The silver garden hose on the left has coarse pitch, the kit's brass adaptor on the right has fine pitch. The adaptor will screw onto a garden hose for a turn or two, but will never bottom out against the washer to seal.Anyone using this mismatch would see leaks, and attempting to tighten it down further to stop the leak would damage the threads on both sides. People this worked for probably got the correct adaptor, people seeing leaks got this wrong one.The adaptor bought seperately costs is as much as the kit, so back it goes.
