A friend of mine recently ordered the slate colored version of this case and I was blown away by the fit and design of the case which led me to purchase the black version. Black is a completely different material and design. Buttons on the shoulder are practically not applicable in my case due to poor design. Silicone covers part of the shoulder buttons, resulting in missed inputs and a lot of degradation. It's not a smooth body like the slate variant but has a matte finish and looks pretty cheap. If any of you buy one of these, go for the slate design. Otherwise don't buy.
