Review on Jabra SPORT Bluetooth Stereo Headset by Jessica Escobar

FIRST UPDATE 03/21/2013: Still pretty good headphones but my volume down button doesn't work anymore. The charge lasts a long time. I no longer use them for commuting, only for training. It's good that there are no dangling cables. But when I run outside, I seem to lose touch when I put my phone in my shorts/trouser pocket, so you'll definitely need an armband or shirt pocket to use. Ok, I got this headset today. So these are just first impressions. I will update this after some use. After waiting for a full charge (the manual says 2 hours, but that wasn't necessary for me), I eagerly tested it. Most importantly, potential buyers know that this headset pairs seamlessly with my Nokia Lumia 920 running Windows Phone 8. Haven't done a distance test yet as I've only used it with my phone in my shirt pocket. Music I used it to listen to music. The play/pause button works; The volume buttons work (but that only adjusts the volume of the headset, not the volume of the phone itself - that's how the Apple headset works with the iPhone). The forward and backward buttons also worked (just press and hold the volume rocker for a second). Phone Calls I only made one test call, indoors, but the voice is surprisingly good. I thought you'd be hard to hear with a mic on your ear, but it's not - nice and clear. Standard size, not too big and not too small, the headset sits comfortably on the head and in the ears, it's not heavy or loose at all, the headphones sit comfortably in the ears, with no extra attachments included. The headphones aren't soundproof, which is safer when used outdoors (remember to keep the volume down so you can hear potential danger approaching). Environment (why not use packaging for online sales that is different from packaging for in-store sales where it should be displayed?). Even if other companies are doing the same, Jabra doesn't get a free pass. Of course, for a company that makes products of such high quality, it knows that it sells a lot of goods online, so it doesn't need presentation packaging. At least it wasn't difficult to open the cot. Manual The manual is incredibly small. They're easy to understand (at least the English version also includes French, Portuguese, and Spanish) and the graphics are uncluttered. The sheet folds very small, but they found space in there to promote some of their other products. I went to their website and downloaded the PDF manual which is a bit easier to read because it's monolingual - now I don't have to worry about losing the manual because I keep it in Dropbox.
