A very nice medal, but it doesn't last.
This is a beautiful medal and I am proud to wear it. It's not "shiny" like other sterling silver items I own and it's not hallmarked so I'm not 100% sure it's actually sterling silver (unfortunately I'm fed up with bad previous ones purchases). To me it looks more like pewter but not that heavy. I guess I'll have to see if it ever fades or not. Otherwise I like it very much and I will wear it often. look for a while. Downgraded to 2 stars which is generous. It's beautiful but I just wish I could still wear it.
