Review on Vacuum cleaner Bissell 1474J, white by Boguslawa Khalifa ᠌

Good product, good quality, not bad.

"Disclaimer": not sure about the exact model of the vacuum cleaner; in appearance, I have exactly the same, but I bought mine a long time ago, the model or manufacturer could have been ated since then. Doubts - because I do not have all those problems described in numerous negative reviews. Breakdowns, non-detachable hose, washing difficulties, etc. - all this I did not meet. Based on the combination of characteristics, I can unequivocally recommend for purchase, as a virtually no alternative for "special cases" of cleaning. I wouldn't recommend it for every day, unless you need a daily thorough cleaning of all floors and carpets in the house. And in addition to a portable battery, for occasional general cleaning - that's it.

Pros
  • There is everything for cleaning. It can vacuum, it can wipe floors, it can wash carpets, it can pick up dirt. It is dirt, not dust / debris, i. E. will wash away both "childish surprise", and "cat's revenge", and jam / sour cream / soup, and blood, and so on - depending on your lifestyle and occasion, which, as you know, are different; ) A fairly large tank, you do not have to constantly add a washing solution when washing. There is a significant heating of the washing solution (greatly increases the "washability" of contaminants). The complete set is rich - there are attachments for all occasions, intensive washing, wet cleaning, dry cleaning, etc. ; Most of them I have never used at all. Power - if desired, it can up the entire Grimpen quagmire along with the Baskervilles' dog)) They write about 150 aerowatts - how many, you never know, but in practice, a bucket of water really out in seconds. Sophisticated design - all parts that need to be washed after use are easily disembled "to the bone", i. E. absolutely everything can be easily and simply washed, dried, and just as easy to emble. At the same time, there are no hard-to-reach places where it is impossible to reach for cleaning without a tool. So even if everything gets moldy in the end without routine cleaning, you can still easily disemble and wash it clean; no "disposable" consumables or repairs! Had the inexpressible "pleasure" to tinker to restore the performance of the (other) washing robot vacuum cleaner after its downtime, as well as cleaning the wired Dyson with disembling the cyclone; here everything is incomparably simpler and more successful. To spoil the vacuum cleaner, leaving it unwashed for a long time, in my opinion, will not work. Although it’s better to wash anyway)) Moreover, for a quick wash it’s enough to (1) pour out dirty water, (2) clean water from the tap right through the hose, (3) pour it out again. All. Long range (cable + hose), gets much further than the wired Dyson. Due to the long hose, you have to drag the vacuum cleaner behind you less (this is important given its weight).
Cons
  • Yes, it is heavy and needs to be washed after cleaning. But this is a design feature, not a flaw. If without water, or even with water, but according to the minimum level for dry cleaning (like "non-washing" vacuum cleaners with an aquafilter), it weighs no more than other corded vacuum cleaners of the same power. Most of the weight gain is a large tank of detergent. Plus a powerful motor, plus the heating of the detergent, plus its spraying - all this "requires sacrifice. " But for the sake of this, such vacuum cleaners are made! I don’t understand vacuum cleaners with half-liter tanks, which are only enough for a mouse pad)) Washing after cleaning is, of course, more difficult than just leaving dry dust until the next cleaning, as in a "regular" vacuum cleaner. But everything washes just fine (see above)! Little things: the network cable does not wind itself inside the vacuum cleaner, and also somewhat strains the material of the hose (it is some kind of plastic, and causes concerns about durability, especially if you drag a heavy filled vacuum cleaner behind it, which, of course, is highly discouraged ). However, I personally have no problems with the hose yet, ugh three times.
