We used this for the first time yesterday and unfortunately our cat ran away when we went to the car. While the carrier feels reasonably durable, the plastic twists/flexes just enough that the cat's weight along with the cat trying to get out allows the cat to open the door and jump out SUPER easily. (What exactly happened) When the plastic flexes a bit, the latch no longer sticks and the door just opens. We managed to get it back and the second time, THE SAME thing happened. And he ran away. We are heartbroken and concerned. and all because of this very insecure medium. PLEASE use with caution; I don't want what happened to us to happen to anyone else if that's possible.
