I'm a middle aged engineer and my fingers are worn out from years of working with CAD. I make a living from a computer and I just can't stop. I had to switch to a 3M joystick mouse, which is a good product but doesn't have a scroll wheel; so i bought this. After a few days it was even better than my old mouse wheel. Zooming in and out of a drawing is very easy, and since I use my left hand to do this, my right hand is enhanced and mostly suited to non-computer activities. Programming some functions is quite difficult. The wheel does not scroll through some documents as intended. I use different operating systems and it behaves differently depending on the operating system. All in all it will add many years to my productive career and is an invaluable tool. I bought a few and they are on all my development and CAD systems. Don't expect the software to be perfect, but it's good and makes a big difference!
