I was looking for a thicker set of socks than my usual one. Something with more cushioning in the toe; more on the plush side. Although these socks appear to be thicker than my other socks, they weren't what I was looking for. However, I like that the socks are comfortable to wear, I feel like I have extra support around my foot, I like that they don't ride down and rise a little higher in the back. I'm a size 10 for women, I have a flat and wide foot. I'm surprised they are the same size. They don't put any pressure on my legs. If you are looking for something more I would say go to Abstracts. If you want these for the winter, opt for plush socks instead.
