Review on 🔒 Enhanced Smart Lock Combo with BOLT Technology Kit for Toyota Tacoma - Black - POP & LOCK PL8540 by Vinny Howard

The PL8540 was easy to install and despite the crappy packaging it worked perfectly. The instructions were clear enough and it helps to go to their website and see the best resolution pictures in the online manual (booklet). As others have said, it's noisy, but I don't see it as a problem. The only 2 issues I have are minor but the reason it's not 5 stars is that turning my ignition key on worked fine but you have to wiggle it after coding to get the lock to turn. never mind Another thing is that even if it's already locked, it's still triggered by a solenoid or whatever operating the lock (my empty shell is smart enough not to try to relock itself ). It doesn't really matter. Overall it's easy to install, gets the job done, and makes my stuff a lot safer.
