Excellent value for money and great features. This little DVD player has a lot of options and the video quality looks great. Here are some of the key features of this DVD player1. Plays almost every recorded DVD-R or DVD+R format, but of course does not support Blueray.2. A USB and SD memory card reader is great for playing movies, but the videos must be in DIVX format, not MP4 format. If you want to convert videos to Divx, I recommend using Wondershare Video Converter. Also note that not all resolutions are supported, please use the 480P standard resolution for video conversion.3. Plays NES games. The gamepad must be plugged into the rear USB port and will only work when the gamepad is powered on. You can upload your own NES games and put them on the SDCARD, but not all games are supported. I've found that about 1/3 of the NES collection you can find online doesn't work. The built-in speakers are loud enough, but you can't adjust the volume while gaming. A few things to note about this DVD player. You need to make sure your screen is set to 16:9 in the setup menu, otherwise your videos will have big black bars at the top and bottom. I usually disable the storage function because sometimes it causes problems with USB video. Increase the dynamic range to the maximum, this improves the picture quality while compressing the video.
