So I've bought a few wallets over the last few years. Mostly thin card cases. I have bought Radix, Dango Wallet, 5.11 and many other thin wallets. This is a copy of the Ridge Wallet. I've never had a ribbed wallet, so I can't compare the build quality. This wallet looks well built. I have noticed that the money clip is held in tension and clipped into the slot that holds it in place. I would like to screw it up. It contains what I use every day. ID, Direct Debit, CCW, my State ID and Work ID. 5 total. There are still slums. There are other wallets that are thinner but this is a very acceptable size with my 5 cards inserted. I'm pretty sure it can handle a few more card carriers. But what I mean is that if you're buying the minimal wallet, you shouldn't be. I would say 8 tips. This wallet holds my cards very tight. Which is good for me. I haven't tried touching my card to see if the wallet reads it. I suspect it's not really RF protected when it's working. This is a great wallet for the price. I have one in red and one in black. The clip is finished in matte black on both sides and scratches and scrapes quite easily. Something to be aware of.
