Review on 🎨 L533-1015 Lineco Self Adhesive Linen Tape, Multicolor, 1.25Inx35Ft by Kim Sanchez

I bought this because of the rave reviews... and this tape is NOT cheap. I hoped this would protect my work while editing. How wrong I was See my photo. I forgot to scan one of my works, so I had to take it off the mount. I thought it would be easy because I used all the quality products including this tape...well I was wrong and read on. The artwork was on raw film. You would think that the tape would be easy to remove from the drawing sheet and circuit board, but NO! There is a lot of glue left on the drawing film and the mounting board. NOT removable on the mounting plate. I was "lucky" that I wasn't in a hurry to remove the adhesive on the drawing sheet. But if it was on cold or hot pressed paper it would undoubtedly damage it! Pros: - NO Cons: - It was DIFFICULT to remove the tape and when I did. He left a huge amount of glue! - It will damage your work! CONCLUSION: - I'm so glad I used acid free corners to mount my other work (it was cold pressed paper). I still have 2 of my other artworks to scan, good thing these are film sketches too. I just have to take the time to rub them with my thumb and hope the mount hides any marks. I will NOT buy this again and if you care about your work, neither should you.
