I had leaking fittings for my water filter at home and nothing could stop it. I tried cleaning out the threads with a tap and die, tightened it with thread tape, pipe lube and consistently 1/4 turn at a time. Nothing worked until I discovered this great invention. After winding the Loctite 55 thread, not a single drop escaped. Every time I walk through the filter room I check the fittings. Dry!. I have already recommended this to several people. Even my father, a retired engineer from the water heating industry, sold it.
