I had problems with previous belt clips. A premium brand, the clip broke many times. Another rotating clip (I didn't use it) wore out the rotating "brake". The cheap case I bought had a non-removable metal clip but with a leather cover that came loose within 2 months. This clip appears to be made of durable nylon and has a nice feel. Most importantly, the clip has a hook at the bottom that prevents the holster from slipping off the belt! It wasn't in the description I read. This is an important feature I'm looking for. It is not good if the case slips off the belt during various activities. You MUST open the clip a little to detach it from the belt! This can easily be done with one of these once you get the feel for it. And the clip will not damage the belt! clip well done! (I don't use hinges) The case itself looks and feels premium. This is the best holster I've bought (over 10 years) and it's very cheap compared to others I've had. You promote my business.
