sweet lights Long power cord. Long battery life. Remembering Settings

Disclosure: I received this as part of the Revain Vine program. I was looking for a new chain of lights for our campsite. I've used a number of basic white LED Christmas lights over the years that were showing signs of age. So far I'm very happy I found these Enbrighten lamps. IMHO there's a lot to like about them: the lamps don't shine brightly, they're small and relatively portable. But they are great for patio/decking/holiday decor/camping. I think they will work well indoors for emergency lighting in the event of a power outage. White mode is soft/warm. The "bulbs" look and feel like old-style "bubble" glass, but are made of clear acrylic. They feel great in the hand and look great. The tabs at the top of each bracket make it easy to hang from an RV canopy hook, small-headed nail, wire, or attach with small screws. Different colors and "Action" modes offer many options. If I had one improvement: I WISH there was a way to "dial in" a specific color and adjust the brightness if I felt like it. But I can't remove anything. The power cord is long, about 6 feet of cord to the control box and another 2 feet between it and the first light. The cable, control unit and fasteners are made of high quality materials. It looks pretty waterproof if you leave them outside. I think they'll do fine on a patio or campsite, but I wouldn't leave them in standing water. I liked the long power cord, but you have to have your own power adapter. None of them come with the device. They plug into a standard USB port. When I first wanted to try them I used an old 3000mah portable phone charger I had and it worked great. Out of curiosity I decided to see how long they would last with this portable battery. So one day at home I set a timer, plugged it in and let it run until the battery died and it turned off - over 8 full hours later (in white light mode). This is very good when you need camping or electricity. Emergency lighting - IMO. I've also found that the control box remembers your last setting when you power off or turn off the device. It also remembers if it was "on" or "off" in case you disconnect power while it's plugged in. Dude" at the campsite leaving the lights on all night. :) Only time will tell how long lasting these lights really are. Surely in summer they will have a hard life at our campsite and I will try to to remind me update.I'm doing my best and trying to find a reason why these fairy lights should NOT be rated 5 stars.I might deduct half a star because I can't adjust the brightness or select specific colors.Maybe I could have deducted half a star because it doesn't come with a power adapter but almost everyone seems to have a drawer full of these wall warts these days anyway today I'm calling it a 4.5 rounded up to 5 I really like these lights.
