Sort of frosted/prismatic looking. Works perfectly!
You can't see much of anything through this stuff, even if you are standing right beside the window. I put it up in the bathroom because our window is right beside the shower. When my wife steps out of the shower, you can't see ANYTHING from outside. Now we can leave the shade up and enjoy natural light without "flashing" the neighbors! And, it's a breeze to install (once you get the hang of peeling off the very thin backing layer).
