I love this dresser and it fits in my room perfectly but the chemical smell of the drawers is overwhelming. It made my chest physically hurt and I became lightheaded while putting my clothes into it after setting it up. I cannot recommend this product to anyone. I have the drawers sitting on my front porch currently as the smell is just too strong to have anywhere in my house. The other reviews mentioning the smell are 100% accurate and I wish I would have listened before buying this product. I contacted the seller and asked them to make this right, either by sending me a new product that does not stink or refunding me. I will update this review once I hear back from them depending on how they handle the situation. But as of right now I will be telling my friends, family, and everyone I know to stay far away from this product. Such a shame because everything else about it was perfect.UPDATE:Well now I feel like a jerk because this company got back to me in less than 12 hours, refunded me in full, told me to keep the dresser, and attached information to their e-mail to me regarding the smell, why it happens and how long it takes to go away (2-3 days.) I was so frustrated that I spent so much time putting it together last night just for it to be unusable but the way this company handled it was amazing. I’m still waiting for the drawers to air out and hoping the smell goes away, so that is a little bummer as I was looking forward to using the dresser right away. But the way this company responded to me was great and I will most likely be ordering from them again in the future.
