Just prick the eggs before cooking!
Bought for a friend who has chickens. Recently she was talking about hard boiled eggs and she was having trouble peeling them. When I asked her if she pierced them before cooking, she replied that she had never heard of it, so I decided to buy her one (but haven't given it to her yet). It's not quite what I have as I've had mine for a long time. but I'm sure it works the same way and hopefully your eggs keep getting better and better clean after cooking!
