These timers are great for helping my kids become more independent and responsible. They help them focus on the task and know how much time they have left to work on a task and how much more time they have before they have to get back to work. They love the colors and the loud alarm, but personally I could do without the mechanical ticking that comes with using a mechanical timer instead of a digital one.
