Bought this to use on Mother's Day to enjoy a family dinner for 8 people. This was very disappointing as we had the windows open during Covid. It was warm outside but windy so the raclette didn't have a chance to reach the right temperature. I also used the little trays on the bottom shelf for eggs, onions and the like and oh my gosh the egg took forever to cook and it comes out like a plastic egg! It sure looked weird! It tasted okay, but it looked weird. We used steak, shrimp, scallops, and Brussels sprouts, but in the end my teacher removed the shrimp and cooked them on the stovetop. I also ended up cooking my steak on the stovetop in a cast iron skillet as I like my steak to be hot on the outside but raw on the inside and that can't pull it off. Thinly slice the rest of the steak. Cooked normally but the scallops are gone forever! So bottom line: of course it's sweet but it might even make enough for 2-3 people and it might warn you enough with the windows closed with no air movement if you have more than 4 adults , I do not recommend it. What I like about it is that it's very easy to clean and cute.
