I have an old Panasonic Viera LCD TV that I have loved since 2004; However, a few years ago I lost the remote control and was therefore unable to control the brightness of the TV. As the year progressed the picture became quite dark, having initially set it to auto or some other setting. Before I bought a new TV I decided to give it a try and see if this remote would work and let me control the brightness. Since my TV is quite old I definitely thought I would need to program the remote to make it work with it. I was shocked when I was able to get started right away without any programming.
