A noticeable difference in odor removal restricts the flow a bit.
Great filter design, yes you will lose some airflow. That tells me it's doing its job of filtering out fine impurities. The activated carbon filter loses its effectiveness before the filter is really dirty, the typical lifespan is no more than 6-12 months. So I stopped automatic delivery when it came time to replace it. Recommend this at all times instead of standard filters. You will absolutely notice a difference in air quality on your first ride with this setup.
