Lacks durability but worth it

I bought my first Delphin backpack in April 2020. I live in Arizona and love to go for long runs/hikes in over 100C several times a week (yes I'm crazy). Unfortunately I threw it away and had to buy a new one. The first thing I noticed was that the seams on the straps and backpack were tearing and coming apart. Then a round metal ring came loose, with a tube protruding from the top of the bag. The biggest problem and the reason I had to throw it away was that it started leaking. So far I have not been able to find out where the leak came from. It was driving me insane as I ran and felt my water supply rushing down my back and legs. I had enough and threw it all in the trash. I decided to get another one because I've used the backpack a lot and can't expect it to last forever. Perhaps the extreme heat combined with heavy use simply destroyed the material after 2 years. Definitely I should buy another one as I find it very comfortable and light.
