I love and hate this thing. So I regret the purchase. It is only installed on a wire in the wall. There is no backboard to hang it up and just use a plug. I have to take it to my hardware store, buy extra parts if I can find them just to make it work. I rent. I can't cut holes in walls and fiddle with wiring. Very disappointed that I made this mistake. I'm not even sure if I can find what I need for this job. I'll stumble in the dark hallway 'til I do. For those planning to hang it on the wall, it looks great and gives off a lot of light. For me it's just a pain in the neck.
