This tray should NEVER be used for rabbits!1) Has metal bars that rabbits (or other animals) can stand on very uncomfortable. Rabbits do not have pads on their paws like cats and dogs, so their paws are very sensitive. Would you like to stand on a metal grate when you go to the toilet? 2) TOO SMALL. The size of this tray is totally unsuitable for any rabbit. Think about it, would you give a cat such a tiny litter box? 3) spots. Quickly. If your rabbits use it all day every day, don't expect this tray to stay white. My guinea pigs barely use it half a day and it's already mostly piss stained, although I wash it off every time they use it. I bought this for my three guinea pigs. When it arrived, the first thing I did was remove the metal bars. I have given it to my hay stuffed piglets and they use it 2-3 hours a day while roaming freely. Gets SUPER dirty easily. I love how it attaches to the grid so the pigs can't move it. Perfect size for guinea pigs. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a guinea pig litter box but make sure you remove the grates. Please never use on rabbits.
