Randomly stops NAT routing

The product worked fine initially. Setup was pretty easy as far as routers go, and it increased my throughput by over 4MB/s. It also allowed many of my network devices to work plug-and-play without having to open specifically obscure ports. However, I was disappointed with the features of the VPN. I wanted to use it to encrypt my internet connection in places with free Wi-Fi, but after looking around many forums I decided that IPSec is not compatible with Apple iOS devices. Although the documentation was sparse and I had limited knowledge of VPN, it could be user error. Another minor annoyance was dealing with web servers. If I tried to access my local server using a domain name on my local network, the router would interpret this as trying to access the device itself for remote management instead of handing off access to the server. Other than that it didn't affect the server negatively, but it caused me a lot of confusion as I thought my website was down. But the last reason I returned the device was that it randomly stopped the NAT routing. I've tried adjusting the DHCP lease times and assigning static IP addresses to internal devices to no avail. On the first day of ownership, the router crashed 4 times no matter what settings I used. Overall the router has potential and I can forgive the shortcomings, but if I'm spending over $100 on a router that doesn't route. The whole purpose of the purchase. I do not recommend this product.
