This small charger is good for charging AGM batteries with pulse function which can restore their capacity. Works great with my 8Ah batteries and also brought back a 22Ah battery that had lost most of its charge after being idle for over a year. I wouldn't charge with a normal charger. Using pulse charge mode on this charger for about a week, the voltage gradually approached and is now holding a charge. Just unplug the charger and it will display the battery voltage and the temperature of the charger itself. I checked it several times a day to make sure it wasn't too hot and to get voltage readings. A battery this size costs about $45 or more, so you save more on this battery than you paid for this charger! Pulse operation is recommended for all small AGM batteries in order to charge them even when they appear to be almost empty. However, this does not return fully discharged batteries.
