For example, square bottles obviously don't fit like they should, so you never know if it's swirling or just wobbling. Advice at least for artists. Put a high-quality ball bearing in your colors. This way you can tell if it's moving and in the right position. Because if it's not a clear liquid, you can't tell if you're doing it right.
