Review on Unleash Your Inner Pro With The JOOLA Spinforce Professional Table Tennis Racket - ITTF Approved And Preassembled For Optimal Performance by Rafael Calderon

Revainrating 5 out of 5

HIGH ENERGY, HIGH FRICTION. Takes a little getting used to. Nice weight and balance.

I'm torn between 4 or 5 stars. You'll have to decide for yourself after reading.I don't claim to be an expert, but I am an ADVANCED RECREATIONAL player who loves to apply (and return!) all kinds of wicked spins. Until I received this paddle I used one of a VERY similar style, only slightly thinner and significantly cheaper (about $30) paddle, so that's what I'm comparing it to.Here's my input:* Out of the box, it doesn't appear to be anything significantly different. Anyone not familiar with the name isn't going to know this paddle from a lesser paddle just on looks.* The weight is slightly greater than what I'm used to (no specific component is heavier, for example, the wood is no denser, it's just a bit thicker than most)* The grip is just slightly thicker and feels just right for firm and responsive movements and balance.* What you WILL notice when you first examine it is that the surface material provides INCREDIBLE FRICTION. Place your thumb on the surface, apply light pressure and try to move your thumb laterally. Doesn't budge! This thing is sticky! (not literally *sticky*, just very high friction). So if you like wicked spins, this thing will make them easy to perform.* The first thing you will notice when you PLAY with this paddle is that it has INCREDIBLE ENERGY. It's going to take me a while to learn to pull back. the balls bounce off this with amazing efficiency. My first couple of games I was popping them off the table left and right. I'm sure with a little more practice and discipline, this physics-defying paddle will provide more options and skills.Just expect that it will take some getting used to. It's the extra potent energy and the high price that have me waffling between the 4 and 5 star rating, but I'll be a sport and go with the 5.I let my 'sparring partner' borrow it for a couple of days and use it against another advanced recreational player and their feedback was pretty much in line with mine, so three reviews for the price of one. :)
