The description said this p.j. set ran large, and it was perfect out of the package. But it shrank beyond being able to wear after one washing. Admittedly, I washed in a warm setting (with the rest of my laundry) not cold. The reason: I don't have the time to treat an everyday, frequently washed item like p.j.s as if they were a fine silk garment. If you're buying, size up. Beyond that, the material is comfortable but "heavy" - not good for summer sleeping. Reviews of this product show a range of contradictions on fit, material, and country of origin. E.g. China, when mine was made in Bangladesh. This means there's no continuity in manufacturers and explains the discrepancies in descriptions - you never know what you're going to get in these cases. I'm 5'5", 130 lbs. and ordered a small, given the description that they are "generously oversized" and "run large". Maybe the ones made in China, but not this one made in Bangladesh.
