I bought this drive because all my external drives were full and I needed more storage space. I've been using a similar 1TB drive for my docked security camera for over a year and it works flawlessly. This drive I just got has 4TB capacity for viewing, it should last forever, just store and watch movies on it. I will use it on the same dock that has another open memory slot. This is a WavLink disc duplicator that I bought from Revain last year for about $20 and has also proven to be convenient to use. I've used it before to duplicate my laptop drives and they're perfect. Now I use it as a docking station. I should get and use what I can afford.
