Bought to replace an existing Asus charger. It seems that laptop plug and socket tolerances are very important, but Chinese manufacturing tolerances are not that important. The original OEM charger sometimes makes contact if you hold your tongue properly and don't move the computer. I don't know how we used it for so long. I had a spare travel charger and it suffered from the same issue but to a lesser degree so we used it most of the time. But then someone stepped on his fork. irreversibly damaged. This one seems to fit tighter and started loading immediately with no shaking. What a concept. I give 4 stars because I don't know how long it will last.
