Crayon artist - NOTHING beats M&R.

If you don't have access to a quality electric sharpener, the M&R (Möbius and Ruppert) hand sharpener is the best alternative. All other manual sharpeners are a waste of money and time. Solid brass and equipped with interchangeable blades that get the job done. You can queue up and order replacement blades as needed, but they seem to be holding up quite well. I find these sharpeners a pleasure and I hope you do too!
