Review on I AND LOVE AND YOU Grain Free Canned Cat Food: Nourishing Delight for Your Feline Friend by Jennifer Witcofski

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Two paws up! on Wet

This is without a doubt my cat's favorite canned food! I have a picky eater that I just can't figure out. She'll even stop eating foods she previously seemed to love, and there's no logic or reason why foods are hits and which aren't. Needless to say, I was hesitant when I first saw this brand in Revain. My mom sent a few pieces that she bought from a local store as gifts and I was surprised! While my cat loves canned food, she often leaves at least a little of what she never eats on her plate. But with "I," "Love," and "You," that never happens! My girl loves fish in general, and my mom sent me Oh My Cod flavor. So at first I just fed that. Forked into a chicken and the same, she liked it! That's when I ordered my first strain here at Revain. I generally prefer to buy different packs because one way to minimize wastage of both cans if she's given up on the food or taste, and also seems to make her happier, is to keep rotating them. A lot of brands don't sell different packaging either, so I think it's great that Love and You and I do that. Additional props for the types of flavors they combine. My girlfriend doesn't seem to like beef so I was happy to see it wasn't included. However, I still wondered how the turkey would transition. You can never go wrong with fish, but it goes back and forth with chicken. But in the past, turkey was a flavor she didn't seem to like. But don't you know she loved turkey too! In fact, the first can I fed, she ate faster than usual. So here we fight ten times ten. There is no other type of packaging or brand where she loves every flavor all the time so keep me amazed! My little pet panther also has a sensitive stomach. I didn't feel canned food for a long time and then not very often because it made her very nauseous. Then she started getting kidney problems, so it's a daily part of her diet now. I've never been able to narrow down the source, and we still run into issues from time to time. One thing that seems to be a factor is quality. Cheaper food definitely makes them sick more often. However, navigating the world of animal nutrition can also be very difficult, and just like the world of human nutrition, pseudoscience and trendy foods are popping up. I can't tell you if me, my love and you are the best you can buy. Probably no. But she never got sick from it. I still feed a variety of brands and patterns, which helps mitigate potential dietary issues associated with one brand rather than another and keeps her interested. But me, my love and you have remained her absolute favorites and I always feel like I'm giving her something special when I feed her. The price is right too, a lower price for a quality grain free meat first meal, but not so low that I'm skeptical. My wallet and Kitty's tummy are happy! If you've been debating whether or not to try it, do it! Neither I nor my cat can claim to speak for all cats, but this picky animal not only agrees, it prefers. I think it really says something. The price is great. The quality is consistently good, can for can (which you don't always notice). And I feed my girl something that is good for her but feels like a treat because she loves it so much. It's a win-win situation and I'm very glad I found this brand!
