On the heel was a kind of shelf at the top, which just rubbed in the room when walking. Also, the odd tongue made the shoe too tight at the ankle, making it difficult to put on and take off. It just didn't feel right for me to just stand inside, so I didn't want to accidentally start it and hurt my legs. Too bad my previous Bedlam 2 set is the nicest shoe I've ever owned. I sent these 3 back and received a Brooks Adrenaline GTS 20 which is fine but doesn't have the same support and gloves as the Bedlam 2.
