These locks seem great in that they: (1) are bright bright in color making them easy to tell apart from a baggage carousel (2) made of metal they appear virtually indestructible making it very unlikely , that they will be ripped off luggage or broken handling at the airport (4), unfortunately quite heavy but arguably because of their strength (5) a TSA system PLUS have a small red indicator when they are being taken by TSA for inspection (or for something more) have been opened!) and (6) TSA must reset and re-lock them to remove the special key again, and (7) the locking hook is small enough to fit through almost any luggage lock or zipper. I have only ridden them a few times but they are like new. I travel around the world several times a year for work so I am very interested in seeing how they hold up over the long term as for 25 years I have been replacing my luggage locks when they come loose, break or are lost or broken by TSA on Airport. loading and unloading machines. They seem to be the best I've found so far.
