Review on All Mighty Pacs Free Clear Odor Relief Laundry Detergent, Tub - 56 Count by Kurt Virden

They take forever to dissolve

I love All Free & Clear and will not stop using it, but feel obligated to warn people that these capsules do not want to dissolve at any temperature. They take 10 minutes to dissipate and I do far too many short charges on the "everyday" and "sensitive" cycles for that to be acceptable. The capsule does not dissolve when the cycle is complete. We have an old washing machine, not HE type, and I drop the capsules as soon as I turn on the water. First, I did what I always do with liquid detergent: I added the laundry about a minute after the water ran out. I noticed that the capsules didn't dissolve and I had to do a second cycle to dissolve the capsule. At this point I started watching and waiting for the pods to break up before adding clothes and realizing the tub could be almost full. full of water before they are. Regardless of the temperature of the water, the pods will not dissolve within 8-10 minutes. I fill the tub 1/3 full, then stop, then wait and wait and wait and finally they dissipate. I turn the water back on and add clothes, then I wash. The other All Stainlifter capsule didn't have this problem, neither did the other capsule brand. I only had this problem with All Free & Clear capsules. The cleaner itself is great. I don't get that weird itchy feeling from clothes that I get when using non-sensitive detergents. Cleans well, removes odors perfectly. I just hate the extra time it takes waiting for the tabs to resolve and I don't know why nobody has reported this issue. This happened both with my last pack, where the detergent was more yellow, and with this new pack, where the detergent in the capsule is almost completely clear.
