The sixth picture down in the listing shows this purse sitting on a table with the food -- it would be at its best as a table decoration and you might enjoy using it as one. You won't enjoy it as a purse. It IS acrylic, so the glittery bands are inside a smooth coating and aren't unpleasant to touch, but it's awkward to hold at almost 2-inches thick with square corners. It has a magnetic closure, so you push it open with the two circles on top -- but don't try to push it open very far. It won't hold much, and if you try it won't stay closed. The chain is reasonably long, but sadly it's ugly (think dog leash). It is also attracted to the magnetic rim, so you'll spend a lot of time pulling it loose when you open the purse. It's cute, it's kicky, it's colorful, and it's fun to look at. It isn't fun to take outside the house.
