Review on 🐱 Purina Pro Plan Urinary Tract Health - High Protein Adult Wet Cat Food, 3 oz Cans (Packaging May Vary) by Karen Rodriguez

Literally saved our cat from euthanasia. She is elderly and has always had kidney problems, blood in the urine, tension, etc. She also lost a lot of weight and vomited. Lots of vet visits, prescription food (which she didn't touch) and repeated doses of medications that she hated. We decided this wasn't a life for a cat who was constantly sick and unhappy. We made an appointment for a week to give ourselves time to prepare and in the meantime I bought this food to give her something she would like to eat but was easy on her unhealthy kidneys. We canceled the meeting (obviously). She enjoys this food, although she has to eat smaller meals 4 times a day as her stomach cramps from not eating enough beforehand. I stir half a can with a glass of mineral water and she eats it right away! Her urine is now PERFECTLY clear - after months of clots and pink urine, that alone was a huge relief. I know she must have been in pain because of all the treatments that didn't work! :( She's gained a few pounds and wants attention and affection again. She's still older so I don't know how long we'll have her, but anything that gives her more HEALTHY time with her family is worth it. PS: We have also gradually switched to dry food as their "meds" as other cat treats have made their kidneys worse again. There have been no problems since the switch. Another product we use is Tomlyn Senior Vitamin & Calorie Paste (name might be correct) I don't like the taste but I put a drop on the tongue a few times a day before meals.
