The size is perfect for me, it fits 1) my portable wifi 2) my iPhone 6S+ 3) my wallet 4) two mini charging cables 5) lip balm and 6) mine external battery. My only issue is switching between backpack style and side strap style; The straps need to be trimmed if I use the side strap style but they are difficult to adjust and then I have to readjust them to be a backpack. It's really good if you only use one style and never change straps (every time I do I feel like I damage them). Ideal if you only use one style and never change straps (I chose a backpack).
