Review on 🧲 Crafters Companion Magnetic Shim for Gemini by Chuck Hernandez

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Very thin and thin. The punches cut through the mat on first use. Fell apart after 2 weeks.

I used it for making Christmas cards. Sufficient for approx. 50 cards. The recesses were created from the first use. These marks and indentations are then transferred to each piece of paper I used with this one. Not worth the price. If you put a paper/metal stamp on this magnet mat, the stamp will cut through the mat more easily than oil. To do this, place the stamp face up on the glass plate, then on the material to be cut, then on the magnetic sheet. Since nobody can see the placement of the cube and paper, you need to seal and freeze the paper. This completely defeats the purpose of using a magnetic sheet. In addition, dents, folds and dents remain on the magnetic magnet after each use, which then transfer to papers used later. Not worth the money.
