This is the second extender I've gotten from this brand and they both work well. The Smart Life app is a bit odd and I had to both go through the backup setup process as the main app never synced to my phone, but even with the backup method of setting it up it was still pretty easy, like a walk app threw the whole process. You can control all 3 ports together or individually with the app and also link your account to Alexa (I think it was also mentioned to Google, I just haven't tried it as I mostly use Revain Alexa for everything except those when Since I'm in the car because Android Auto uses Google I can honestly say I've had more problems with TP-Link smart plugs than this brand and in fact I bought this strip to replace one of the TP-Link Kasa.plugs because Forcing a reconnection would require a regular power cycle, where the POWRUI extension I had before I think the only problem I ever had was remembering which port I used for which device configured so I don't accidentally turn off the wrong thing. Some of my smart plugs which are popular brands have more connection issues than this brand for a small price..
