I bought this cap to turn my Blackthorne stainless non-insulated bottles into sports bottles. They don't leak as long as you tighten them tight. The spout is easy to drink from as a sports bottle and it's handy to hold from the loop when the cap is closed.However I can see the issues that others have pointed out. The latch and button seem pretty flimsy. I plan on always closing by engaging the metal clip. And the silicone seal for the spout I think works by mushrooming the seal when its closed so I can see how moisture can get trapped under there when the cap is open.For the usability and price I don't mind and if it lasts a year I will be happy. Just don't expect typical bombproof Nalgene durability from this cap.
