Review on 🛏️ SUPERIOR Cotton Bedspread and Pillow Shams - Jacquard Matelassé Coverlet, Cotton Quilted, White, Queen Size by Corina Doepke

This bedspread was great until I washed it for the first time. I have a 10" thick mattress with a 14" bed frame underneath and this bedspread can touch the floor the full length of the bed. After the first wash, the bedspread was literally hanging a foot off the floor. (I used the recommended wash settings and then let it air dry). Not only did it shrink badly, but it also shed a disgusting amount of cotton balls and cotton balls EVERYWHERE. I had to vacuum the carpet in my room, wash the sheets under the bedspread, sweep the tiles, etc. etc. I didn't notice all the leftovers until the next morning. Every time I make my bed, little bits of cotton get deposited on my carpet and clothes. I'm not sure if this is a defect or a side effect of machine washing this cover. But that has never happened to me with any of the covers in my entire life.
