The choice fell on a radio receiver, I needed a reliable portable device, having studied the market I found several good options within 500 rubles, but after reading the reviews I realized that it was better not to risk it, so we decided not to save money, but to take a portable radio receiver from the famous and very reliable Japanese company Sony .Unlike others, the radio from Sony looked very solid, a black monolithic body with a glossy surface at the top. There are no complaints about the assembly, everything is in its place. Separately, I note the light indicators of the battery and reception, which is very convenient. The purchase was made in Eldorado Perm for 1299 rubles. This is what the packaging looks like. And on the reverse side. The packaging is very cheap, made of thin cardboard that is easily wrinkled. Comes with radio, instructions and lanyard. There are no batteries. Regular AA batteries are inserted. Separately, I note the energy efficiency of this radio, since there were no batteries in the kit, I had to insert old batteries from the remote control for testing, so they still work there without problems! From the left end there is a standard headphone jack and a volume rocker. From the right end there is a tuner rocker and switch vklvklfm and am. As you can see, prints are already left on the glossy surface. It’s good that it’s not all covered with it. The flash photo helped to see the size of the speaker. Here he is alone. Nothing outstanding can be expected from him. For me, it was below average. But grandfather was pleased. This problem is solved by buying good headphones. All in all there is certainly a huge bind per brand. For the amount for which it is currently being sold, it is by no means worth it. The materials are cheap, the sound quality is below average, you can’t catch AM at all, FM catches perfectly, but we live in the center of a city with a million inhabitants, it would be strange if FM didn’t catch well here. And of course, in our time, you can easily listen to the radio via the Internet on your smartphone, but this is for us, and for this generation - the simpler the better! After all, what is the main thing in a gift? That he would bring joy. My grandfather was happy to receive such a gift, he now does not part with it and carries it with him everywhere. I really hope that it will last a long time, then it will be possible to talk about the justification of its price.
