I am a woman, 70 years old, very short. I have a small face and wear children's glasses. They look good and are very inexpensive. Of course you get what you pay for, but how could I not at least test them (free returns with Prime). The frame is made of well-made, malleable nylon. The problem is that the lenses are very cheap. I wouldn't even buy them for a child especially a child as I think it will affect their vision over time. They dim the light, but also blur everything a bit. Now I can be a purist and not compromise when it comes to my health and well-being, but after trying these and the Tifosi Small Frame (which also lacked clarity), I ended up buying Maui Jim's (not the kind of money you want to spend on kids glasses and from what I've seen they have no children's glasses). There are some pricier shades like Oakley which are about half the price of Maui Jim and have decent clarity. That would be my choice for a child.
