I really wanted to like this product, but I have mixed feelings about it, which is why I'm giving it a "middle of the road" rating. I purchased 2 jumbo packages of vacuum storage bags. Out of the 12 brand new bags, 4 of them do not hold vacuum. I have found holes in 2 of the bags by simply listening to the faint sound of air rushing back into the bag. I have yet to find the failure of the other 2 bags, as it seems the double zip seal is intact. I suspect there are small holes or breaks in the factory seams somewhere in the bags. I cannot hear any air being drawn into the bag, but they completely lose vacuum after 24 hours.Pros:-When these bags work, they work extremely well. I am pleased with how much product the jumbo size bags can hold and how much they compress in volume.Cons:-The biggest disappointment to me is the amount of faulty product. Failure in 4 out of the 12 bags seems pretty high, considering these are supposed to be a premium product compared to other brands on the market. These were brand new bags used for the 1st time.-I'm sure the double zip feature is the same as many of the other brands out there, but there has to be a way to improve this seal. If you are off in the slightest bit when starting to seal, you will likely end up with a very small opening/gap at the other end, as if one side gets stretched out a little more than the other. It may also result from the creases in the vacuum seal bag when packaged. Afterall, these were fresh from the package. Either way, I found myself having to reseal several bags due to this issue.To top it all off and throw more salt in the wounds, the price dropped $14/package in the 4 days since I purchased them. In the future, I think I'll just purchase a cheaper product. This is one of those times I do not believe you truly get what you pay for. At least with a cheaper product, if it fails, I'm still in the same boat, but only out half as much money.
