Do not buy bulk goods if one or more are defective.
I bought them in bulk to save money. Bad idea. I had to throw away two of the four filters immediately after trying them out, because the filter material seeped out of the filter into the water with every filling attempt. Unfortunately this was not the case with the first one I used and when I got to the broken one it was too late to return it. I definitely recommend buying them individually so that if you have a broken one, you'll find out about it in good time and send it back.
